January 1 has been declared as a paid holiday by the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE). It will be applicable to all private sector employees too. Dubai is gearing up for the new year celebrations as different attractions are planned for the new year and Kylie Minogue’s concert is part of the grant celebrations.

Dubai New Year’s Eve Celebrations

Dubai New Year’s Eve party is hyping up to be the most expensive party of the year. The Australian singer would be performing at Atlantis The Palm and the NYE gala event will be one of the most sought-after places to be. It is also an interesting event as she is returning to Atlantis The Palm after fifteen years when it first opened and Kylie performed at the inaugural ceremony too.

Dubai New Year’s Eve Celebrations

The NYE Gala will offer a once-in-a-lifetime entertainment experience which will feature a buffet ranging from lobster and caviar to a live sushi station. The place will also have ice sculptures and a collection of over sixty-five different desserts. The ticket rates start from AED 5,900 for adults and AED 4,500 for children between the age of 4-13. 

The tallest building on the planet, Burj Khalifa will also be holding its prestigious fireworks show on the last night of 2022. The tower will have a top-of-the-line laser show and pyrotechnic show that will be a resounding beacon of happiness, peace, and hope for the next year.

The Dubai fountain at the base of the building will also ‘dance’ to the tunes of the music as the laser beams will be traveling the longest distance to date. Burj Khalifa put up an extravagant LED light show on the occasion of the 51st National Day celebrations on December 2.

The NYE gala at Atlantis The Palm has been hailed as the most expensive new year’s eve party in Dubai and the tickets are up for sale with the offering of two sections called the Premier Circle and the Rogue circle both charged at AED 5,900 and 6,900 respectively for adults. 

The tourist sector in Dubai has seen a tremendous increase in 2022 and 21 with almost a double-fold increase this year because of multiple global events ranging from the Dubai Expo 2020 to the FIFA world cup held in Qatar.
