Dubai RTA To Build Rest Stops For Delivery Drivers

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced plans to build three integrated rest stops in the emirate for delivery motorbike riders. The RTA is inviting bids from the UAE business community to build these rest stops.

The first rest stop will be near the Festival Plaza in Jebel Ali Village on Sheikh Zayed Road. This location is especially significant because it is a busy area with a high volume of delivery activity.

The second rest stop will be near Al Muraqabat Street 22 in Port Saeed. This location is also strategically placed since it’s close to a busy commercial area, making it easy for delivery riders to stop and recharge.

The third rest stop will be located near Al Manama Street in Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 2. This location is especially important because it is close to a number of industrial areas with high delivery activity.
