Hamdan Bin Mohammed Praised HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid At Dubai Leadership Camp

The Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD) organized Dubai Leadership Camp held in Dubai, which witnessed several high-profile speakers and influencers attending the event.

The camp featured the warmth of Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Gergawi, Minister of the Cabinet Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president, prime minister and Chairman of the Executive office, His Excellency Major General Talal Humaid Belhoul AlFalasi, Director- General of the State Security Department in Dubai and Director-General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Road and Transportation Authority Mattar AI Tayer.

Hamadan bin Mohammed’s statement 

His highness Sheikh Hamadan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also filled the event with his gracious gesture by meeting with participants and engaging in conversations with them. The crown prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive council of Dubai continues to inspire the generations to build with the future.

He expressed his gratitude towards the audience, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. He appreciated the progress of Dubai, which nurtures the next generation with capable leaders who are building a future aligned with the vision of the His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is eager to put his feet forward to the development of human capital and to boost the quality of life.

He continued his statement by praising the efforts of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid, who taught developing human capital is the key to the prosperity of the nations for a brighter future and effective leadership that requires persistence, perseverance, and patience.

He added, all the Emiratis learned from their Highness that the “strength and impact of leaders increases with their collaboration, communication, and cooperation”. He motivated the Emiratis by explaining to them the importance of cultivating ambitious and innovative leaders, who can advance the progress of Dubai as the World’s best country for living, working, and visiting. 

He concluded his statement by saying that “Every success story in any industry will serve as an inspiration to the leaders in other fields. No one can succeed alone, and no leader can achieve their goals without a competent team”.

He advises the citizen of Dubai to work closely together as a team, sharing experiences, constant communication, and trust in each other. He assured that these key principles are necessary for development and leadership.

The Dubai leadership camp was conducted to mold and cultivate leaders who can maintain and continue the leadership culture by nurturing the younger generation, for developing a future and achieving the visions set by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

This leadership camp was organized and conducted as a part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for leadership development (MBRCLD), to train young leaders who can resume the journey their leaders set out to finish.

The ultimate motive, mission, and vision of the leaders developing program Mohammed bin Rashid Center for leadership development (MBRCLD) are to “create leaders for tomorrow”. This program is a part of Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives – which was launched in 2015.

However, this MBRCLD  initiative was set up in 2003 with the same intent as it is now “Creating leaders for tomorrow”. When fast-forwarding to two decades, the Center can witness how the seeds which were sowed in the development programs flourished throughout the years. Today, several senior leadership positions in both federal and local agencies are of alumni of the MBRCLD program.

In order to provide world-class development leaders, the leadership development program is designed strategically. At the initial stage, the program identifies potential talents across the public and private sectors.

After that, it enhances and develops communication skills through social learning or networking events, as communication is an important factor in development. Once the communication skills are improved, the participants are subjected to world-class leadership interactive sessions and other programs to develop their necessary qualities.

Completion of the action-oriented programs develops a hub of cultivated leaders who are ready to continue the progress. Some of the key principles of the leadership framework are strategic foresight, global citizenship, diversity and inclusion, disruptive mindset, curiosity and agility, passion and commitment, value creation and lastly investing in people.

In addition to this, The Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development launched another program “Impactful Leaders” to develop Emirati leaders to thrive in the private sector, with a focus on multinational companies.

This program includes a maximum number of participants of 30 UAE nationals, they are selected after strings of assessments and interviews. The first stage of the program continues for six months, during this period participants are subjected to diverse global practices in management along with leadership skills across various work environments in different cultural groups.

On completion of the first phase, the second phase begins which also spans six months. During the second phase, the program focuses on external assignments as well as offers the participant the to travel abroad for real-life experience in various multinational companies. 

The vision of the prime minister of UAE is promising that the leadership program is efficient in creating, nurturing, and developing global leaders.
