Mansour Bin Zayed Receives Deputy Chairman Of Transitional Sovereign Council In Sudan

The honourable Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and the Minister of the Presidential Court, H.H. Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the Lieutenant General, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.

Mr Mohamad Hamdan Dagalo is the Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council in Sudan. His highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and honourable Mr Dagalo shook hands in the courtyard of Qasr Al Bahr Majlis. The duo had come together in order to undertake relevant discussions for strengthening the future of the region for the good. 

The UAE would help Sudan become independent, self-sufficient

According to the sources, the two sides had expressed their willingness to boost the availability of opportunities with the help of teamwork, joint efforts and cooperation.

They acknowledged the importance of coordination in order to overcome the political crisis and pave the way for a wholesome future that could serve the aspirations and goals of the country of the United Arab Emirates and Sudan.

The UAE would help Sudan become independent, self-sufficient

Some sources have also revealed that such development would help to dwell social, political and economic stability in the countries by the next decade. 

The meeting between the two officials took place on Thursday, i.e. 23rd February 2023. The meeting began on a positive note as His Highness H.H. Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan applauded the efforts of the men and women of Sudan.

He went ahead to celebrate the victory of the Sudanese who with the help of their sheer determination and zealous enthusiasm have driven the military out of their country thereby establishing a civilian-led government.

It was further stated that the journey of the country of Sudan has just begun and there is a lot to be achieved by the country in order to establish its reputation in the international domain.

Mr Dagalo, on the other hand, was extremely overwhelmed and expressed his gratitude for His Highness’s kind words. He went ahead to add that this acknowledgement and credibility was something which had pumped the Sudanese men and women to work relentlessly for the upliftment and improvement of the country as a whole.

He also thanked the government of the United Arab Emirates for extending its unconditional support to Sudan as it has undergone a tough time recently.

It was only through collective efforts of the citizens, adequate leadership and continuous support from neighbouring countries such as the United Arab Emirates, that all the efforts finally bore fruits. 

This meeting between these two prominent officials was definitely not without purpose. The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss the existing state of affairs and develop a strategy for the future.

Sheikh Monsour primarily emphasised the importance of building fraternal and communal relationships between the two countries through cooperation. The objective was to develop both countries through shared expertise and resources.

Building national and international relationships would automatically boost the availability of opportunities for the citizens of both countries to benefit from.

Sheikh Mansour ensured that the UAE would be trying its level best to supply every bit of support to the  Sudanese with regard to the implementation of the agreement that the Sudanese counterparts had signed to settle the then-political crisis.

On the basis of a recent tweet, it can be deciphered that Monsour takes pride in the stability and governance of his country and therefore, he would be more than willing to develop Sudan on similar lines.

Every initiative by Sudan to build and prosper the country would be met by continuous and unconditional assistance from the UAE. 

Sudan and the United Arab Emirates have a historical relationship. Sheikh Mansour reassured the Sudanese official, throughout the meeting, that the new generations would be continuing the legacy to assist the country by developing a plethora of opportunities that will end up making Sudan a self-reliant and much more developed country.

The countries would be working together to reinforce the peacemaking efforts, develop arms and ammunitions, strengthen the army, procure of latest technologies, provision of training to the personnel and execution democratic principles for the well-being of the country.

This meeting has been the first step to recognising the unfaltering stance of the UAE to support Sudan in every possible situation. Efforts are underway to execute the official agreements and commitments.

Towards the end of the meeting, Sheikh Monsour expressed this trust and confidence in Sudan and exclaimed with pride that all these above-mentioned efforts would be able to enhance the competitiveness and consolidate the commitment towards unity.

This is the beginning of the new tomorrow and with the help of consistent efforts, this objective could be easily fulfilled.
