Mohammed Bin Rashid Awards The Mohammed Bin Rashid Medal For Scientific Distinction To Four Winners

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice-Pesident and the Prime Minister of the UAE, has welcomed the winners of the fourth edition of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Medal for Scientific Distinction.

The winners were honored by the Ruler of Dubai at Za’abeel Palace. The event was attended by various distinct personalities.

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Medal for Scientific Distinction is awarded to the distinguished researchers and scientists who have contributed towards the development of science and innovation in Dubai.

In fact, the Government of Dubai is undertaking various measures to develop new horizons of progress by empowering young minds. 

Medals and honors were bestowed upon distinguished Scientists, Researchers, Professors, and Deans

The award ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum and His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi.

The event began with a motivational speech delivered by the Ruler of Dubai. He congratulated all the winners for their unparalleled achievements. He went ahead to state the intention of his Government to create a new generation of scientists who represent Dubai both locally and globally.

In addition, he also applauded the efforts of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Medal for Scientific Distinction in recognizing exceptional achievements in the field of science, technology, and innovation.

In fact, these scientific achievements support the national strategies that help to improve the economy of Dubai and promote the objectives of sustainable development.

The winners included Prof Qutayba Hamid and Dr. Mohammed Al-Mazur who was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Rising Scientist Medal respectively. The Medal for Scientific Distinction was awarded to Prof. Ehab El-Saadany. He is currently the Director of the Advanced Power and Energy Center at Khalifa University.

These distinguished scientists and researchers have established a unique position for themselves and have made the country proud of them.
