Noor Dubai Foundation Offers Free Eye Checkup And Treatments To Hatta Residents

The Noor Dubai Foundation, UAE based charity organization conducted a campaign to encourage the early detection of eye problems in Hatta. The Noor Dubai Foundation is a nonprofit group that aims to end avoidable blindness and visual impairment on a global scale. More than 40 countries have already received eye care services from the foundation.

This campaign is about humanity showing people their eye health conditions. The initiative aims to provide access to eye care services to the people living in Hatta who may not have easy access to such services and also this campaign promotes the importance of eye health and care. The program, which will run for three months, aims to identify and treat eye conditions in the area, which is located in the eastern region of Dubai. 

The campaign is now spreading global attention

Residents of Hatta will be given free eye exams and treatment as part of the programme by the Noor Dubai Foundation. The Community Development Authority, Al Jaber Optical, Hatta Hospital, as well as a number of other public and commercial institutions in Hatta, are among the campaign’s partners.

Dr Manal Taryam, CEO of Noor Dubai Foundation stated, “We are delighted to announce that we will be offering free eye examinations and treatments to the residents of Hatta, We believe that everyone has the right to access quality eye care services, and we are committed to providing this service to those who need it the most.”

Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority and Chairman of the Board of the Noor Dubai Foundation, emphasized that since its founding and through 2022, Noor Dubai has been successful in aiding 33 billion individuals around the globe through its treatment, preventive, and awareness programmes.

This innovative campaign is spreading the message of how important eye health is global. 500 natives have already benefited from this programme, and in conjunction with Noor Dubai Foundation, the Foundation has given out 152 pairs of eyeglasses and referred more than 78 patients to hospitals in Dubai for proper medical care.

Al Ketbi emphasized that Noor Dubai Foundation is dedicated to continuing to assist people all over the world in the fight against preventable eye diseases and that it is aware of the effects that eye issues have on people’s health and quality of life, as well as their ability to learn and encourage themselves.
