Yesterday, Expo City Dubai witnessed a significant gathering as H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, met with the valiant members of the search and rescue team from Dubai Police and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services. 

These brave individuals played an instrumental role in Operation “Gallant Knight 2” conducted in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey. During this meet and greet, Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, emphasized the UAE’s unwavering commitment to providing humanitarian aid to those in need during times of crisis during his meeting with members of the Dubai Police and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services.  He attributed this commitment to the guiding principles of the UAE’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The Colonel described the difficulties the team encountered while dealing with the aftermath of the region’s devastating earthquakes. He also highlighted the Emirati team’s advanced capabilities in dealing with such emergencies, which enabled them to complete their rescue mission successfully.
