Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohammed Bin Zayed Inaugurates The Expansion Of The Al Falah Housing Project

The Crown Prince of Dubai and the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan officially launched the expansion of the Al Falah housing project in connection with the Emirati Neighbourhood initiative.

The inauguration was done under the direction of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The project provides new homes to 899 citizens completed at a cost of more than AED 1.92 billion

The Al Falah housing project comes under the Emirati Neighbourhood initiative, this new expansion of the project was developed by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority and investors to provide homes to Abu Dhabi citizens.

It spans around 215 hectares that consist of five parks, five mosques and other facilities for the public. 

Expansion Of The Al Falah Housing Project

The inauguration of this new phase brings the total number of homes under the Al Falah housing project to 5,756. Each villa in the housing project has five bedrooms, two Majlis (one for men and one for women), living and dining rooms, and other amenities.

His Highness Sheikh Khaled received an overview of the infrastructure of the project, building specifications, and architectural design elements of the project during the time of inauguration. 

He observed the exterior and interior finishes of the villas to ensure that they meet the demands of the citizens and improve their quality of life adhering to the highest international standards. 

The motive behind the introduction of this project was to build a close-knit community integrated together and with all the essential facilities.

The project was also designed to line with this objective. In order to satisfy the needs of the citizens and to improve their quality of life, each home under the project is distinguished by a unique design that reflects the Emirati culture, identity and heritage.

This new expansion is the third phase of the project, the first and second have provided almost 4,857 homes to the citizens since 2012. The expansion of the project reflects the continuing urban growth in the Al Fatah area. 

Other leaders like the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, Dr Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei; the Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa; Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Saif Saeed Ghobash; the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi; the Director-General of Operational Affairs at Abu Dhabi Executive Office, Muna Al Dhaheri; the Director-General of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, Saif Badr Al Qubaisi and the CEO of Aldar Properties, Talal Al Dhiyebi were also present at the inauguration. 

The Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, Al Muhairi said that they will continue to be devoted to creating new housing projects that fulfil the needs and demands of the citizens and ensure a complete development of the communities.

Thus, by improving the quality of life and stability of the citizens we would carry out the directives of the leadership, he said. 

The inauguration of this new phase of the housing project echoes the directives of the leadership to provide the best living conditions, well-being and stability for the Emirati citizens and their families, said the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Housing Committee. The initiative helps to build attractive, dynamic and secure neighbourhoods that will improve the quality of life of the citizens. Moreover, it will also promote social and economic development throughout Abu Dhabi, he said.
