Sheikh Mansour Has Been Appointed As Vice President Of The UAE

The United Arab Emirates has been the strongest monarchy in the world. They have projected before the world at large a very unique example of validating monarchy through the incorporation of basic democratic and constitutional principles.

The reason which contributed to the sustenance of this institution has been a well-established hierarchical mechanism. The UAE is defined by well-formulated offices so far that help to promote stability and certainty in the country as a whole. 

In an attempt to establish the lines of accountability, and ensure better governance, the UAE has now got a new Vice-President. His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been named as the Vice-president of the Emirates.

The New Vice-President will contribute to developing the UAE

He would be working under the aegis of the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and the Prime Minister of the Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Their collaboration would be helping to develop the UAE and fulfill the objective of making it emerge as a global power. His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan is a legendary leader with experience and expertise.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE after obtaining the approvals from the Federal Supreme Court of the UAE, passed resolutions for the appointment of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the Vice President of the Emirates.

In addition to being the Vice-President of the country, he would be also discharging his responsibilities in the capacity of being the Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE. He would also act as a Minister of the Presidential Court.

He will assist and work in association with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is currently the Vice-President and Prime Minister of Dubai.

The President of the UAE has appointed the vice president as he constitutionally enjoyed the power to make such an appointment as the head of the state. The head of the state had announced the appointment of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the Vice President along with various other resolutions.

He also appointed Sheikh Tahnoun Bin Zayed and Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed as the deputy rulers of Abu Dhabi who would work along with the ruler of Abu Dhabi. The President of the UAE has also issued a decree to appoint Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohammed Bin Zayed as the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

The new appointees have already participated in the oath-taking ceremony and have officially joined their duties.

The appointment of the Vice President at this stage is very crucial for the UAE. His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan would be now representing the UAE on a global stage. He would promote the development of the Emirate as a whole under his leadership.

The Vice-President of the UAE is expected to play a multidimensional role in accelerating growth and development in the UAE to enable His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to perform his duties, he has been placed in a very key and important position in the Government. He has been handed over the charge of multiple ministries and portfolios as well. 

The Vice President has been made the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Mubadala Investment Company. This company has been a strategic investor in the infrastructural projects of Dubai. In addition, he has been given the responsibility of guiding Abu Dhabi’s Judicial Department.

He is a law graduate and therefore, the Government now expects him to oversee the implementation of the Sharia-based legal system and provide better adjudication for civil, personal, and family law cases.

He has been declared the head of the Emirates Talent Competitiveness Council as well. The objective of this council is to run an Emiratisation program to holistically look after the development of middle eastern countries.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan is also a sports enthusiast. He owns the Manchester City Football Club. This club is one of the most famous and successful clubs in England’s Premier League.

He also supports other teams in the league and almost all of them have been doing quite well. He is also a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. This Council devises plans and programs to improvise Dubai and the UAE at par with international economies.

This council develops policies to implement various projects for the growth of the infrastructure, financial markets, and industries in Dubai. He would be now leading the most pivotal project of the Council, Hub71. This project will help to improve the connectivity of the country with various countries. His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan has all the potential to discharge these duties properly.
