Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, graced the graduation ceremony for the new cohort of the ‘Impactful Leaders’ programme organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development. The program’s goal is to help rising Emirati leaders develop and strengthen their leadership skills.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum shared a message through his official Twitter account after attending the graduation ceremony of the new cohorts.

He said that the programme which was launched 20 years before has qualified numerous managers, ministers and officials in both the private and public sectors.  It has also graduated more than 800 leaders within this span of time. 

He added that the faith that we have in young Emiratis to stand up and take the lead is the secret to the success of the programme.

The belief that we have in the great potential of the youth has resulted in this success, raising the UAE to new heights. This result also underlines our belief in the world-class potential of the nation, he said.

The ceremony was held at the Museum of Future and was attended by several prominent leaders, including Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE; Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council; and Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Chairman of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum,

Sheikh Mohammed said that the success of the programme has added more strength to its future development and provided quality training. And the UAE will continue to maintain its strategic method of investing in exceptional talent and developing young leaders.  

The Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD) was founded in 2003 with the goal of ‘building leaders for tomorrow’. It has operated on the key concepts of creating, identifying, facilitating, and constructing for the future over the years

The initial edition of the Impactful Leaders programme was introduced in the year 2017. The main focus of the programme was to develop leaders who promote creativity and innovation, improve working conditions and help shape a better future.
