The Magpies – Newcastle United To Start Training Camp In UAE On March

English premier league’s top club Newcastle United F.C. is all set to begin its training camp after a year. One year ago, the club visited Dubai and now they are all set to head to the UAE to start their warm camp.

On 10th March (Friday), the football manager Eddie Howe talked about the preparations in a press conference before the big game of Newcastle against Wolves on 12th March as they won the game 2-1. A lot of information has been circulated regarding the news of Newcastle United beginning its warm cap later in March.

Newcastle United Back In UAE After One year

Those who follow the football clubs and their preparations closely might know that Newcastle organised this kind of break in 2022 when they wanted to avoid relegation. This helped them kickstart the 2022-23 campaign journey. By the end of 2022, the football club organized a mid-season warm camp in Saudi Arabia. Now they are all set to head for the camp in the United Arab Emirates.

Magpies Newcastle went to the Middle East in March 2022. Dubai Sports Council officially confirmed the same and called it a “behind the doors” kind of trip. Not much of a friendlies training camp break is taking place. Even if there was, the same hasn’t been reported by anyone or made official by the football club or DSC.

The main agenda of Newcastle United F.C. is to benefit from the international break that is scheduled for the end of this month. This will introduce a break for domestic competitions from the 20th of March to the 1st of April. This is when the Premier League would make its comeback on matchday 29.

This weekend, Club Newcastle would be competing with Wolves at St. James’ Park and then they would visit Nottingham Forest for a trip. This is scheduled for the 17th of March and these are the two games remaining on the schedule for Newcastle before they go on a break. Then the team is all set to return for competition. There is going to be a home clash and the club is playing against Manchester United– The EFL Cup champions, the match is scheduled for the 2nd of April.

We have already talked about their trip that took place last March. During their camp, the team spent their days recovering and training so that they can enter the pivotal home stretch. Premier League Championship always holds immense importance for this football club and they proved how much they wanted it. After that, the foundation for the European qualification quality season was established.

When Magpies Newcastle returned from the mid-season camp, they went ahead to win big with four EPL games. They also won 6 of the final matches of the league and stood at the 11th position. The team finished with 49 points and was 14 points ahead of Burnley (it stood at the 18th position and was considered to be one of the best-relegated teams.

During this March training camp, there is a possibility that some of the players from Newcastle would be a way to fulfill their international duty. So far, only this has been officially announced that Jamal Lewis is going with Northern Ireland. While discussing the Brazilian squad, neither Bruno’s nor Joelinton’s names were taken. It is expected that they will go on their Dubai trip with all the club members.

According to the site of Alarabiya Sports, information about the Magpies Newcastle United football club has been revealed by the Dubai Sports Council. The council has said that the training camp is one of the 30 camps that they are planning to host for players who are visiting from abroad.

Apart from Newcastle, Arsenal, and Liverpool also visited Emirates in 2022 for their camp. This year, along with the Newcastle team members, players from under-20 Mexican teams, Saudi Arabia, and the Netherlands are going to train in Dubai during the coming months.

The main purpose of choosing Dubai for training is due to the kind of attractive climate and tourist options it has. Newcastle United Football Club was purchased by a Public Investment Fund consortium in Saudi Arabia. This was finalized in 2021 and now the team looks stronger.

Their matches began in February with the last one on the 18th of March against Nottm Forest. To bring better results, the team is considering the idea of replacing Eddie Howe with Luciano Spalletti. Magpies have seen that Howe has mentored five games but there was no win for the Newcastle team. Now Newcastle has dropped to the 6th position as a result and this has given Liverpool the way to go ahead. But the team still has two games over Tottenham and this might give them an edge.
