The holy month of Ramadan has come to an end with the sighting of the new crescent moon in Saudi Arabia on the night of Thursday. This sighting of the moon has confirmed April 21st, Friday as the first day of Eid Al Fitr 2023. The authorities of the UAE have announced the prayer timings of the Eid Al Fitr 2023 across the country.
Eid Al Fitr prayers or the Eid Musalla will be held across the UAE in approved mosques
The UAE is all set to celebrate Eid Al Fitr 2023, officially putting an end to the holy month of Ramadan. The month of Ramadan lasted for 29 days, with April 21 being the first day of Eid Al Fitr 2023.
The UAE authorities have announced the timing and places that will host the Eid prayers, which are offered on the first day of sunrise, soon after the sunrise.
The prayer timings of Eid 2023 across the United Arab Emirates are as follows.
Abu Dhabi – 6.12 a.m.
Dubai – 6.10 a.m.
Ajman – 6.07 a.m.
Sharjah – 6.07 a.m.
Umm Al Quwain – 6.07 a.m.
Fujairah – 6.05 a.m.
Ras Al Khaimah – 6.05 a.m.
Al Ain – 6.06 a.m.
Khorfakkan – 6.05 a.m.
Dhafra – 6.17 a.m.
According to the information from the authorities, in order to avoid rush during the prayer time, the volunteers and the concerned mosque authorities will be supervising the entering and leaving of people to the mosques.
The UAE has taken all measures to ensure this Eid is the best and also to ensure the safety of the people. The prayer timings for the various emirates in the UAE have been announced by the Islamic Body of the nation.
The Fatwa Council of the UAE has stated that arrangements will be made to perform the Friday prayers and Eid prayers separately. The Council added that there has been a great controversy among Muslim scholars regarding the offering of Friday prayer on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr on Friday. According to the belief each sermon should be performed separately at its time according to its sunnah, the Council said.

The end of the holy month of Ramadan, the month of fasting is observed as Eid Al Fitr and it marks the first day of Shawwal. People celebrate Eid by visiting their loved ones and greeting them with Eid Mubarak, they will have a feast and share blessings with the dear and near.
The prayer of Eid is also known as Salat-Al-Eid, which is performed on the first day of Eid Al Fitr. It is a special prayer that symbolizes the togetherness among friends, family, relatives, and neighbors. The people usually offer the special prayer at mosques or at open spaces or Eid Mushallas.
Eid prayers are usually offered in the congregation, where all the worshippers gather together and perform the prayer. It consists of two parts and is led by the Imam. The first part of the prayer consists of multiple takribs, which will be followed by the reciting of the surah Fatiha and a chapter from the holy Quran.
In the second part of the prayer also multiple takribs will be said followed by a two-part sermon by the Imam. Eid prayer can be performed from houses also, in such cases an adult male from the family will be the imam who leads the prayer.
