The International Day of Happiness was established by the United Nations (UN) and is observed annually on March 20th. The goal of the day is to spread the idea that happiness is a basic human right and to encourage people all over the world to prioritize happiness and well-being in their lives.

The UAE (United Arab Emirates) places a high value on happiness and well-being. The UAE launched the National Program for Happiness and Positivity in 2016, with the goal of incorporating happiness and positivity into all aspects of life in the country.

In line with the UAE’s future vision, the program aims to make the country one of the happiest in the world.

As part of this program, the UAE has been working to improve its ranking in the World Happiness Report, an annual survey that measures people’s happiness levels around the world. The UAE has made significant progress in this area, rising from 28th in 2016 to 19th in 2021.

The UAE’s commitment to making happiness and well-being a priority on its national agenda reflects its belief in the value of providing a positive and fulfilling life for its citizens and residents.

The initiative helps to create a more positive and fulfilling environment for people to live in by reducing the burden of fines for residents in the emirate.

It also serves as a reminder that being conscious of the environment and following the rules can contribute to a happier and healthier society.

This initiative is consistent with the UAE’s overarching goal of encouraging happiness and well-being among its citizens and residents. The RAKPSD encourages individuals to take responsibility for their actions and make positive choices that contribute to a happier and more fulfilling life by allowing them to clear fines and start over.
