It may be the middle of February but still, it’s never too early to plan your summer holidays. To help you out, we’ve shortlisted three new routes that Emirates, Dubai’s local airline, will be launching this summer.

1. Auckland via Bali
Emirates Airlines is launching a daily service to Auckland via Bali from June 14 onwards. The Dubai based airline currently flies non-stop daily to Auckland but a stopover in Bali means…an opportunity to enjoy the beaches, nightlife, culture and thriving local art scene that the Indonesian island is known for before you make your way to the buzzing city of Auckland. When in Bali, make it a point to check out the Ubud Monkey Forest that is home to over 700 monkeys and 186 species of trees. Also be sure to check out Mount Agung, a stratovolcano labelled as the highest point in Bali.

2. Santiago de Chile via Sao Paulo
Starting July 5, Dubai’s award-winning airline will fly to Chile’s capital Santiago five times a week. The route will be via the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo. The good news for citizens of both the countries is that they only need their ID cards to travel to either place. When in Sao Paulo, be sure to check out the private street art tours and take note of the city’s gothic-style architecture as well as its many Renaissance-styled domes

3. London Stansted
Catering to those around Essex, Emirates’ daily route from Dubai to London Stansted will operate from June 8 this year, making it the first Middle Eastern airline to operate from the North East London airport. When you’re there be sure to visit the Mountfitchet Castle – it’s an open-air museum allows visitors to travel back in time and experience life 900 years ago. You can tour the castle, roam through the Norman Village as well as feed rescued animals that roam freely through the site. A visit to The Gardens of Easton Lodge is ideal for those looking for a green haven, complete with a tree house built in an old oak tree as well as a tea pavilion for the mandatory English afternoon ritual.
