The weather has taken a turn for the better, with humidity levels lowering along with the temperature. For Dubai residents that means that pool and beach days are back on. Kick back, relax and take multiple #blessed pictures for Instagram, just to make your friends jealous.

Riva Beach Club
Where: The Palm Jumeirah

With beach and pool access offering an excellent view from The Palm, this is one of Dubai’s most popular beach clubs. Riva is also known for its watersports, which include wakeboarding, but be sure to book in for a lesson as it can be busy.

Multiple pools and a quiet 500-metre strip of Jumeirah Beach – The Westin has chill out days covered. Book a Bali bed or sun lounger by the pool, or take things up a notch with water activities such as windsurfing.

All of the Address hotels in Dubai have excellent places to swim but the 50-metre infinity pool at the Marina is the pick – both for its size and its appealing views over the Marina’s inland canals. It also has a well-stocked poolside bar providing an appealing urban escape.

A swim up bar is the jewel in this pool’s crown. The beach bar also has a pretty good selection of lunch and light bites for those looking to make a full day of it.

JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort

Jebel Ali may not be number one on your list of daycations, but JA Golf Resort shouldn’t be overlooked. It’s only a five minute drive from Dubai Marina, and has a beautiful 800-metre palm tree lined private beach.

OK, we know that you’re going to tell us that this isn’t a pool, but we couldn’t leave it off the list. Why? Instead of an entry fee, Nasimi do a minimum spend, so it feels like you’re getting more for your money. And it’s pretty awesome.
