Dinner in the Sky is coming to Dubai

Published

on

One of the most unique dining experiences on the globe is pitching up in Dubai, and you need to have a head for heights to enjoy it.  Dinner in the Sky, a cool concept that suspends a dinner table from a crane 50 metres up, will be at Habtoor Grand Resort very soon.

The experience, which began in Belgium, has now put on more than 5,000 dinner events in 40 cities. The “floating” table has been to Kulala Lumpur Tower, Villa Borghese in Rome, and Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh (where ShortList’s digital ed was lucky enough to try it).

Once a maximum of 22 diners are strapped in, the crane lifts them 50 metres into the air where they can enjoy their meal while looking over an impressive view. The Dubai experience will have Dubai Marina, The Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis hotel in the background.

Tickets will be on sale very soon (if you can stomach it!), so keep an eye out on www.dinnerinthesky.ae.
