Em Sherif goes Á la carte
The fine-dining Lebanese restaurant noted for its mammoth set-menus of 30-plus dishes has now introduced an á la carte menu for early-evening meals – which will come as a relief to those who love their home-cooked Lebanese food but want to do something other than sleep after eating it. The new menu affords diners the chance to select their favourite dishes from the kitchen, any of which can be tailor-made to their personal choice and quantity.

The boutique hotel in Downtown Dubai has announced that British celeb chef James Knight-Pacheco has taken charge of their kitchen. His presence can already be felt in a new lunch menu at the 3in1 Restaurant that includes dishes such as sweet soy and hot tuna salads, the “Oh Brie” sandwich and the “Good Avo” flatbread.

La Tavolata Bussola
A new lazy brunch has been launched at one of our favourite spots. The Saturday offering at Bussola, which they’ve dubbed La Tavolata, combines a selection of the chef’s specials – including some of the best pizzas you’ll eat east of Bari – alongside Italian house beverages, a live DJ and the terrace’s relaxed ambiance.
