3 restaurants to visit in Dubai this week

Zuma Dubai is the only restaurant in the Middle East to place in the top 10 restaurant bars in the world at the New Orleans 11th annual spirited awards. And it’s done it for the third time in a row. Zuma is as revered for its food as it is its drinks – black cod, anyone? If you haven’t been yet, sort it out.

Retro Feasts
Although this mollusc-shaped hut on The beach in JBR is meant to be British themed, there are rather a lot of American favourites on the menu here – the club Sandwich and BBQ Chicken Platter to name but two. The beef hot dog is another, and is definitely worthy of inclusion on this list. Char-grilled and served with onions and mustard, it keeps it simple – just as we like it.

Based on the concept of back-alley sushi restaurants found in the major cities of Japan, this place can whip up some lip-smacking gyozas. The good news is they are celebrating the month of July as the ‘month of gyozas’. Diners can choose from chicken, wagyu beef, seafood and tofu with vegetables. Two plates with five gyozas each cost AED66.
Where: Al Ghurair Mall, Galleria Mall, Ibn Batutta Mall, Bay Square in Business Bay
