7 Dubai restaurants with awesome new menus to try

At.mosphere
Crafted by Executive Chef Christopher Graham, At.mosphere’s new Market Menu is to put it simply, quite posh. The five-course meal starts with a serving of home smoked mackerel that’s followed by a moreish portion of risotto. This is followed by your choice of main – the pan seared bream served with spiced aubergine and blood orange ceviche is absolutely delicious. Once that’s done, its time for the slow cooked duck breast served with cherry, vanilla, foie gras and pear – we told you it was posh. A dessert offering of apple tarte and crème brûlée ends off the evening.

Teatro
Some more South American influences can be enjoyed at one of the city’s favourite restaurants. A new, light and very summery menu has been devised for the season, featuring the likes of ceviches and tiraditos. FYI – the octopus tiradito with sesame sauce, hiyashi wakami, chives and shallots, is absolutely delicious.

Reform Social & Grill
The British gastropub has launched not one but two breakfast menus. The first is a weekend menu that features the mammoth dish that is the “Breakfast of Champions” – it features black pudding, buttered button mushrooms, sausages and eggs. The second is the venue’s Full English Breakfast offering. Guests can now indulge in a number of “on toast” options that range from avocado buttered crumpets to Scottish inspired smoked kippers on toasted hovis. There’s also a number of new gluten free options. And, even though it’s only available on weekdays, our favourite dish is the Buckwheat pancakes.

The French bistro in Jumeirah Lakes Towers has a Apero Menu for its twice-nightly happy hours – which run from 4pm-8pm and again from 11pm-1am. Some of the moreish new dishes include mini soupe du jour, mini burgers and poêlée de champignons – all of which range between AED9 and AED39. Our favourite is the tartare de thon – it’s to die for.

The Victorian Restaurant and Cafe
Created by The Victorian’s Head Chef, Karl Kollmitzer, the new line-up aims to represent the best of British cuisine. It includes a number of hearty meaty dishes like slow-cooked beef short rib with truffled potato cup and a mushroom and garlic crumb and rack of lamb served with ratatouille. There’s also a number of new items for vegetarians such as baby capsicums stuffed with pearl barley and served with a side of broccoli. Kollmitzer has also added a number of starters and a special dessert too.

The beloved Chinese restaurant has added five new items to its already impressive menu. So, if you’re looking for Shanghai style or Szechchuan style noodles, you now know where to get them.

The Mexican haunt has created a special menu to celebrate the last few weeks of summer. For just AED100, guests can enjoy a number of starters that includes beef, chicken and fish tacos. For mains, guests can chose between one of the three mains; Mexican fajitas, catch of the day or roasted chicken served with three chilli mole sauce. There’s dessert too (we recommend the churros), and live entertainment – the in-house DJ will be spinning a number of upbeat tunes.
