3 restaurants to visit in Dubai this week
There’s an all-new and much amplified brunch at the W in Al Habtoor City this season. This brunch is hosted in collaboration with a number of homegrown brands and artists who will be accompanying your food with a series of pop-ups and activations, while the W Music Curators set the tone with an array of fresh new sounds. In terms of the food, it’s all drawn from Level Seven’s fresh Mediterranean menu – with grills, grains and plenty of crisp salads.

No sooner has 7Elephants reopened for the winter than it has launched a ladies night for Mondays. Between 6pm-11pm, ladies get five complimentary beverages inspired by the seven cuisines on offer, so that could be Indonesian or Mexican. The venue boasts the longest bar in Dubai and offers fantastic views of Burj Khalifa. There’s shisha, too, and soul music from a live band.

You wait all year for a new club to open up and two come along in a month... and both in JBR, too. After the launch of Inner City Zoo, Scarlet Cardinal comes to the Sofitel, with live music as the main draw here. It’s jazz night on Sunday, Latino night on Monday, retro tunes on Wednesday and power pop on Thursday. Sound City is the resident band and there’s karaoke, too.
