Salt Black Summer
Salt’s dark and limited edition menu is back for another year. The comfort food specialists Black Summer theme sees your favourite burgers, sides and desserts served up in black, which are sure to bring in the Likes on Instagram. Until the beginning of Ramadan, you can grab Wagyu beef sliders and crispy chicken fillets packed inside a black bun. Thick cut fries coated in black salt and vinegar sauce and a refreshing black lemonade that’s activated by charcoal. You can even bag three items off the menu for just AED75, too.

There’s another great reason to head to the Brazilian steakhouse during the week. The new happy hour is available 4pm-7pm, Sunday to Thursday and includes 2-4-1 on beverages and Brazilian bites such as tasty Coxhina chicken bites, beef pastels and the venue’s signature Picanha burger and braised beef sliders.

Ting Irie Island Daze Brunch
Head to the Jamaican favourite for its all-new Friday brunch. It’s a five-course menu deal that takes in the soul-warming cuisine from the Caribbean shores including classics such as Spitfiyah jerk chicken, traditional patties and curried goat. It takes place between 12.30pm and 4.30pm and prices start from AED205.

Flooka
A long-standing favourite that has earned, and importantly retained, a large local customer base. Located in the Dubai Marine Beach Resort, Flooka offers great seafood with a Lebanese twist, including a variety of mezze dishes like dried fish roe with thyme and fish kebbe. For the mains, the jumbo shrimp and, naturally, Sultan Ibrahim have become the must-order dishes here. You might need to be a little patient with the service that can be a little, how shall we say, eccentric.

Cielo
The sleek décor, skilled bartenders and weekly DJ acts make the venue’s uninterrupted views of the city’s skyline that much better. Although brief, the food menu is worth a try as are the many mixes and blends available. The shisha isn’t bad either.
