New Indian street food restaurant opens in d3
There are plenty of blindingly good Indian restaurants in Dubai. Whether you’re after traditional cafeterias with recipes passed on from generation to generation, fusion diners that merge the best of Asian cuisine or even a British-Indian riff on a curry (you charlatans), you’ll find it here.
So how does a new eatery carve out its own space on the foodie scene? Well, Mohalla (which means ‘my neighbourhood’ in several languages) is bringing all manner of authentic street food from the country to the table, right in the heart of the city's dynamic Dubai Design District.
Dishes such as Bengali-style Scotch eggs with lamb keema and Chettinadu prawn biryani are designed to share, so bring a big bunch of mates and make sure you try it all.
