The Noodle House giving away months’ worth of free meals
Squid-on-a-stick, Batman! The Noodle House is exploring the dishes of Taiwan for its ongoing summer campaign, and there’s a special item on it that could nab you a big prize…
The trendy homegrown restaurant is featuring a list of Taipei’s signature street food dishes in its limited-time menu, including The Noodle House’s unique take on the world’s most expensive beef noodle dish.
Available until Friday July 26, the niu baba style beef noodle is an Umami-packed dish inspired by Taipei’s very-own USD450 beef noodle soup.
The restaurant’s take on the favourite includes 14-hour slow-braised beef, fresh egg noodles and skinned tomato for a pocket-friendly AED59. Yeah, we’ll take The Noodle House version.
There’s also squid on a stick (AED39) – inspired by the popular Shilin Night Market in Taipei, where a whole squid is battered and deep fried.
Don’t bite into the squid just yet. As part of the campaign, The Noodle House is running a ‘Snap it, Tag it, Share it’ social media competition where diners with the most creative social media images with the squid lollipop can win month-long free meals. Get creative.
Just tag @thenoodlehousedxb on Instagram to be in with a chance to win.
What else is on offer? The menu includes mount kong run bing (AED20), an ice-cream wrap filled with salted caramel, lemongrass-lime and lychee sorbet, coriander and peanuts, which is traditionally served at Jiufen Old Street, a historic area an hour’s journey from Taipei.
There are also street favourites such as Taiwanese iced tea served with salted whipped cream and Osmanthus flower syrup (AED22).
The menu is available in all branches, including Souk Madinat Jumeirah, DIFC and The Dubai Mall.
The Noodle House is also getting ready to roll out four new branches in the UAE, expanding its empire in JBR, Palm Jumeirah and beyond.
