Remember the days of watching Garfield wolf down trays of lasagna and wondering what a life that cat must live? Well it’s time to put yourself in his shoes for the day with Andiamo!’s pasta-filled celebration.

It’s time to celebrate all things lasagna at the Grand Hyatt Dubai’s Italian restaurant’s National Lasagna Day celebration – marking the day with a specially made menu featuring five different pasta-layered treats for all to enjoy.

Taking place on Monday July 29, diners can choose from the Lasagna Day menu, which includes an array of favourites. For the original fans, there’s ‘The Classica’, featuring homemade egg pasta dough with béchamal sauce and Bolognese ragù for AED90.

There’s also the ‘Pescato’ for AED105, made with squid ink pasta dough, featuring lobster bisque, calamari, shrimp and clams, and the ‘Formaggiosa’ made with four different cheeses for AED85. Clearly one for the cheese fans.

As for the other two, expect ‘Maiale’ for AED115, a rosemary homemade pasta dish with pecorino girotondo, sausages and parma chips, along with one for just the veggies for AED75, the ‘Vegetariana’ with basil pasta, burrata cheese and datterini confit.

Fancy a bit of grape to go along with your meal? Diners can get a glass to with their lasagna by adding just AED25.
