7 Dubai New Year’s Eve Parties

It’s almost time to bid adieu to 2015, and you’ve got to do it in style. To kick-off our New Year’s Eve round ups, we’ve got options at both sides of the city, and all of them offer something a bit different. Watch this space for more of our top NYE picks…

Atlantis The Palm
What: Every year, Atlantis puts on a spectacular firework display that lights up the iconic hotel and the skyline of The Palm Jumeirah. Taking place on the 1.4 kilometre beach, those who visit the hotel for the popular New Year’s Eve Royal Gala dinner will get front row seats for the fireworks, as well as live entertainment throughout the night. The dinner is served outdoors, with live cooking stations and a hug range of international cuisine. Restaurants such as Bread Street Kitchen and Nobu are also open for NYE, giving guests an excellent view of the firework display.

Qbara
What: The modern Arabic restaurant’s ‘Golden NYE Party’ is about all things opulent. Music comes in the form of resident DJ, Ivan Minuti and a live violinist who will play you through the evening. There will be a live projection of the Dubai skyline to keep you in the NYE spirit, and at midnight a net of balloons will fall on the glamorous crowd. Packages include a set menu and soft drinks, or you can upgrade to premium beverages or bubbly.

Cirque le Soir
What: The weird and wonderful circus club always has some freaky performers, but New Year’s Eve is going (more than) one step further. Clowns, dwarfs, contortionists, burlesque twerkers, stilt walkers, sword swallowers, fire eaters and mixologists will keep you entertained throughout the night. We’re not quite sure what will happen when the clock strikes 12…

40 Kong
What: The iconic rooftop venue is throwing a black tie party with panoramic views of Dubai’s skyline. Enjoy a set menu and all-night open bar to get the full 40 Kong experience, running from 8pm until 4am. Those who have other soirees to attend can opt for the 3-hour package which includes free-flowing drinks from 1pm until 4am.
Price: AED800 for the 3-hour open bar and AED1,600 for set menu and drinks all night. Both packages exclude bubbly.

Iris Dubai
What: Ibiza reulars Mash machine are heading to Iris for a night of NYE mayhem. On top of that there will be surprise DJs, dancers and a live violinist. The party lasts from 7pm until 3am, with numerous packages available for those who’d like an open bar and plenty of good food. Premium packages include a bottle of bubbles at midnight as well as free-flowing house beverages throughout the evening.

Pure Sky Lounge
What: This is an ideal spot for watching 2016 come in, with views from the 35th floor terrace at the Hilton on JBR’s The Walk. Expect an extra-special brunch to mark New Year’s Eve, with the likes of dry-ages sirloin and burrata with sweet ripe peach. The brunch runs from 9pm until 12am, giving you free flowing drinks right up until midnight.

Aqua
What: Set in JW Marriott Marquis, this place has impressive views of Downtown Dubai. The outdoor lounge will be filled with sounds from DJ Diamond and DJ Chris Garcia. You’ll have a great view of the fireworks and free-flowing house beverages to keep you partying from 9pm until 3am.
