4 new Dubai brunches you have to try

Unless you’re an expat fresh off the plane, or on your first Dubai vacation, when it comes to brunch we’ve all been there, done that and bought the t-shirt. But you needn’t frequent the same all-you-can-eats every Friday. Here are some new options for 2016.

Giardino
Launching this week at the new Giardino, one of Palazzo Versace Dubai’s signature restaurants, is the International Friday Brunch, which features a tropical, jungle-themed decor designed by – naturally enough – the House of Versace. The family-friendly brunch will offer guests a wide range of international cuisine – Indian and Chinese cooking stations as well as a seafood bar – and a live DJ. Almost as appealing as that is the access to the hotel’s glamorous East Pool that comes with the package, and for those wanting to carry on the party post-brunch, La Vita bar offers 50 percent off on drinks to all brunch goers. It hasn’t even opened yet, but it’s clearly making a pitch for the all-day outing market.
Where: Palazzo Versace Dubai
When: Fridays, 1pm-4pm

Brasserie Quartier
Located in the new St Regis Dubai, the Brasserie Quartier offers a French gourmet feast called Brunch at the Manor. The tableside offering includes plates piled high with langoustines, oysters, mussels, lobsters and crab and a carving trolley with moreish sides. It concludes with French cheeses, sorbets, macaroons, pastries, cakes and even made-right-there candy floss. Grape aficionados will receive a glass to match every dish. Gulp.
