VIDEO: Nando’s at Dubai Festival City

Nando’s is taking part in Dubai Festival City’s Dining at Festival Bay promotion. Until March 31, enjoy a mango cooler worth AED22 with every mango & lime espetada order, only at Festival City. Click here for more.

Nando’s is known for its bright décor, but the eye-catcher at the Dubai Festival City branch is quite special – a graffiti wall designed by internationally recognised artist Kilmany-Jo.

The smell of the Afro-Portuguese cuisine is instantly recognisable from the open plan kitchen. Once consulting the ‘peri-ometer’ to decide how much spice our taste buds can handle, we opted for the half chicken with lemon and herb sauce (we weren’t feeling overly wild on the spice) with two sides (AED68). If you’re a Nando’s regular you’ll know that the coleslaw is a must, and it goes perfectly with the spicy rice.

The chicken is juicy and the peri-peri sauces mean that you can make every bite taste different.

While Nando’s is famous for its chicken, the desserts shouldn’t be overlooked. The Choc’late Lovin Spoon Cake (AED26) which is a giant mouthful of chocolate served inside a sandwich of dark chocolate cake.

Three dishes to try…

Espetada Carnival (AED72)
A skewer of flame grilled peri-peri chicken thighs, with feta and parsley filling along with mixed bell peppers. It’s served with two side orders of your choice.

Chicken Breast Burger (AED38)
The flame grilled peri-peri chicken breast makes this meal a must try.

Choc’late Lovin Spoon Cake (AED26)
For a sweet end, this cake is a must. Enjoy a molten chocolate pudding between two layers of moist chocolate cake.
