Al Minhad area is located a few kilometers from the most prestigious island of Dubai Palm Jumeirah. Al Minhad is famous for its Military base, which is located around 60 kilometers outside of the city. The area around the city is found to be deserted and isolated. It is believed that the UAE government is planning to boom the economy of the country by utilizing the land for various purposes.
As per the geology, Al Minhad covers around 83.9 kilometers of surroundings. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and Prime Minister of the UAE has instructed to rename the city. As per the reports, Al Minhad city will be renamed and called “Hind City”. It will also include the surrounding areas covering Al Minhad.
The city comprises four zones
The “Hind City” will be comprised of four zones; Hind 1, Hind 2, Hind 3, and Hind 4. The city will also include housing for Emirati Citizens along with shopping complexes and other necessary infrastructures.
Earlier last year, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the crown prince of Dubai established an integrated housing plan for the citizen of Emirati. According to the plan, it is aimed to build around 15,800 homes for Dubai Nationals by 2026. This housing plan strategy also seeks to include the construction of 4,000 residential units with different options by 2026. It is generated in a way that all classes of people have options to select their range of residential facilities in the new housing plan.
The “Hind City” housing plan comes after the initial development of the new housing complexes in Al Khawaneej area 2 and Al Warqa area 4.
All of these housing initiative programs for the citizens of Emirati come under the UAE’s vision for the next 50 years, which focuses on sustainable urban development and enhancing people’s happiness and quality of life. The UAE’s vision is dedicated to advancing their country 10 years ahead of time than the rest of the global countries.
