Bape x adidas to drop new collab next month
After months of speculation, Japanese streetwear brand Bape and sportswear giant adidas will join forces once again in 2019 with a new follow-up from their NMD and Dame 4 collections.
But this time, the pair (see what we did there) will be releasing Ultraboosts – and if you want some, you'll need to get ready to queue.
The last Bape x adidas collab sold out within minutes in Dubai with streetwear fanatics lining up outside adidas' Dubai Mall store to try to cop a pair.
Given that the shoe now sells for thousands of dollars on the resale market, it's no wonder the two companies have teamed up yet again to make a limited edition pair of adidas' most comfortable and popular running shoe.
Dubbed the "Football by Bape" collection, the Ultraboosts will be available in two looks. It wouldn't be a Bape collaboration without the signature camouflage print in both green and black.
The Green Camo and Black Camo options both come with the USA Bape flag on the tongue and insole, with a black Boost midsole and rubber outsole.
The collection will also feature a football jersey, helmet, football, and the adidas Adizero 5-Star cleat.
These fresh crepes will be dropping on February 2, just ahead of Super Bowl LIII, and will retail for $200.
Just make sure you don't miss out.
