IKEA to introduce its own app
Anyone who's been to Dubai's IKEA store over an Eid weekend will no-doubt have wished they had ordered online.
There are so many other people with the same idea it can get super crowded.
At least there's a delicious hotdog at the end to look forward to.
But, now it seems IKEA is in the process of creating its own app for ordering. Until now, all you've been able to do is browse the furniture and accessories before ordering from the store's website or visiting in person.
The Swedish firm's digital chief Barbara Martin Coppola told Reuters that an app is being developed that that would let you shop remotely while still visualising how it appeared in your home. The new app would allow you to enter your room dimensions to ensure a good fit, and choose from different styles and "life stages" to narrow down the selection.
We're not sure if you can order those hotdogs, though.
