adidas Originals announces new ‘90s OZWEEGO silhouette edition

Looking to get your nostalgia kick(s) in more of a literal sense? adidas has just revealed the perfect pair.

adidas Originals has just introduced a new interpretation of ‘90s runners, the OZWEEGO silhouette, and it’s now available in limited stocks across selected stores in the GCC.

Re-worked for today’s generation, the design reflects the aesthetic style of the ‘90s, the new silhouette features archived elements and brings the adiPRENE technology into the present. Sounds swanky.

The trainers are inspired by the OZWEEGO 3 sneaker of 1998 – a running shoe that was embraced by street culture – and brings forward all the elements from the original design such as adiPRENE and adiPRENE+. Basically, it’s all about comfort.

As for how it looks, it has a distinctive eye stay panel, defined midsole lines, and translucent support tube. It also features a classic mesh, suede, and TPU construction across the upper, countered with fabric lining.

The new Originals are coated in a nostalgic white colorway with solar yellow and blue accents “reminiscent of the era’s outlandish palette”. The more nostalgic, the better, we say.

Prices for the OZWEEGO silhouette start at AED475 for adults, AED425 for the little ones and, just for the infants out there, AED249. Clearly a pair of kicks for all ages.
