Nintendo reveals first look at Nintendo Switch Lite

There’s no denying how successful the Nintendo Switch is. But if you’re one of those gamers who plays Breath of the Wild in bed, rather than on TV, then maybe you’ll want something a little lighter…

It’s been rumoured for a while, but Nintendo has finally revealed the latest addition it its family: The Nintendo Switch Lite. Basically, it’s everything the flagship console can do, except portable-only.

Check out the trailer below:

The Lite version won’t have any Rumble motion technology or be able to play on TV, which also means no detachable controllers. That means certain games such as Super Mario Odyssey will need extra Switch controllers.

On the plus side, it’s amazing that Nintendo has made a purely handheld device that’s playing Triple A titles. Better yet, this one will be cheaper.

The new handheld is set to launch on September 20 for $199.99 (UAE pricing to be announced) and it will be available in three different colours: yellow, grey and turquoise.

If you’re thinking of getting it, be prepared to try these games that are coming down the line.

Already have a Switch? Well you’ll definitely need to have played these top ten games that are out right now.

The lighter, the better we say.
