Call of Duty: Modern Warfare full ‘multiplayer universe’ to be revealed
When we heard Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (a.k.a one of the best first-person shooters of all time, no debate) was getting a reboot, we were gutted that we would have to wait until October to play it.
At least there’s new gameplay coming soon to keep us satisfied in the meantime.
Mark your calendars for Thursday August 1, when Activision and Infinity Ward will reveal the ‘multiplayer universe’ of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
If you’re curious, be sure to check out the full reveal on www.twitch.tv/CallofDuty, which will show off a deep look into everything the universe has to offer.
Players have already had a taste of it with the reveal of ‘2 vs. 2 Gunfight mode’, delivering quick-action, close-quarters duo-based combat. Reminds us of the days of Rust. If you know, you know.
This time around, multiplayer will feature unified progression across modes, to support cross-play across platforms and the removal of the traditional season pass. It’s all aimed at delivering a greater mix of more free maps, content and community events post-launch.
It was recently named “Best Online Multiplayer” by Game Critics Awards Best of E3 2019, so we believe it when the developers say it’s a ‘new generation of Call of Duty multiplayer’.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to be released in the UAE on Friday October 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The wait isn’t that far away, but in the meantime, check out our list of the best games in 2019 that you may have missed.
