Get your hands on Manchester United’s new away strip
Manchester United have officially launched their new away kit for the 2019/20 season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side wore the strip for the first time during a 2-0 friendly win against Perth Glory in Australia at the weekend, when goals from Marcus Rashford and James Garner secured victory.
The strip features a fresh savannah-toned aesthetic and intricate patterned design that takes its inspiration from the many mosaics that colour the streets of Manchester’s creative district, the Northern Quarter.
The clean savannah colour is paired with a minimal black secondary colour that adorns the adidas three stripes on the shoulders, a modern crewneck collar, a trimmed hem and the club’s iconic badge.
The Manchester United players are joined by local music artist Aitch, in the launch film for the kit. A Manchester native and United fan, Aitch has written a track to celebrate the launch which he performs in the video. It can be seen on adidas and Manchester United’s social channels.
United open their Premier League campaign with a home game against Chelsea on Sunday August 11.
