Dubai's coolest clothing stores
First up is Dubai’s very own take on streetwear at the always-trendy amongst few. Not only does this Dubai-based brand have its own collection of t-shirts, a wealth of Snapbacks and classic variations of sweatpants, but it also does exclusive collaborations with the NBA, The Hundreds (also on this list) and niche brands. Be sure to look out for their Reasonable Doubt collection, boasting black and white musical influences in Arabic translations. Having Arabic logos on your attire is stylish and rare, that’s what we call an exclusive trend.

Kachins 44 Street
Forget all notions of cupboard-sized shops hidden down back alleys of Bur Dubai, Kachins is an extensive, well-appointed store where tea is served and guests can relax on sofas while browsing through style magazines for inspiration. While there’s a good range of Indian outfits on show here, don’t be fooled into thinking that’s all they have. If you’re after a slick suit, head past the colourful gowns and rummage through the cashmere wools on display. The cut is the key to a good suit, and that’s what makes Kachins superior. They insist on two fittings and a final check before the suit is ready to go, giving you that look you’re after. A range of different collar and cuff styles are also on offer here, and it won’t cost you a pretty dirham either.

Most of the ladies reading this will know Stella McCartney as a noteworthy luxury brand, but did you know about its men’s collection? Yes lads, delve through its website and you’ll find a selection of tie-dye hoodies, sleeveless sweaters and track jackets with a bit of sparkle. While most of its apparel is at the smarter end of streetwear, you’ll find that you can definitely sport one of its check blazers and trousers with a trendy pair of Yeezys. For those on the lookout for more of that skater-type style, we recommend the “no smile, no service” t-shirts, available in both minimalist and shout-out-loud versions. Get involved.

The Good Life Space is a major player in the Dubai sneaker scene and it continues to go from strength to strength.

Bamboo t-shirts? How in the world does that work? Those were our initial thoughts anyway. Until we realised the benefits of sporting a tee made of a Panda’s favourite dish, along with how on-trend Teesing makes its shirts. From being naturally thermo-regulated to its extremely soft material, tees at this homegrown store are a no-brainer anyway, but add on the cult movie-inspired designs with a Dubai twist and you have a brand you’ll definitely want to be seen in.
