THE CHOSEN FEW: Carry on bags

Published

on

There’s a chance you’ll be on the move at some point in the next few weeks. Catching a weekend staycation before it gets too hot, popping to Europe when it does and, in between, probably about five business trips. It’s the reality of life in the UAE. You’re either on your way somewhere or you’ve just come back.

For the modern man, what you take is sometimes less important than what you take it in. Here’s our pick of the best weekender bags, from canvas hold-alls to carry-ons.

1. Globe Trotter trolley case
Founded in 1897, this is a brand which exudes style and durability. With each item handmade in Hertfordshire in the UK based on models first created a century ago, they can be a genuine timeless investment. This smart 21-inch trolley case is the ultimate hybrid. Smart and practical.

2. Polo by Ralph Lauren canvas hold-all
Safe and stylish, this a great option for throwing in the back of the car or in an overhead bin. Its reasonable price makes it universally popular, with wearable canvas holding up trip after trip after trip. Navy is the most popular, but we love the sand.
