Dubai Sports World is back better than ever
You don't need to give up sports just because it's summer in Dubai.
No, every year the brilliant Dubai Sports World opens at Dubai World Trade Centre, giving people a chance to get involved in all kinds of new activities.
Now in it's ninth year, there are some brilliant options available, such as trying the flying trapeze and acrobatics, or a rather cool-sounding Ninja Warrior course.
There's also wall and rock climbing, parkour, martial arts and the usual things like badminton, basketball and football.
Dubai’s new AC Milan Academy will also be making its first appearance in the city at Dubai Sports World 2019.
The event starts on Wednesday June 19 and finishes on Tuesday September 10.
It's a 25,000 sq m indoor air-conditioned venue with three five-a-side and three seven-a-side football pitches, six basketball courts, three street basketball courts, 18 badminton courts, two tennis courts and a table tennis zone, three volleyball courts, two cricket pitches, cycling and fitness studios powered by Reebok and Les Mills, a padel court and a state-of-the-art gym. And rugby pitches. Phew!
