World’s First Advanced Air Mobility Integrator Center In Dubai

The groundbreaking innovative project Advanced air mobility center is all set to launch in Dubai, which will become the world’s first integrator center. The integration center will enable companies to test and operate their electric copters, vertical take-off, and landing of the (eVTOL) aircraft. It also includes assigned blocked airspace, and flight testing airspace as well as surrounded by smart technologies to nurture and assist the growth of the advanced air mobility center.

As per the reports, currently, around 650 companies are manufacturing VTOL aircraft. All of these companies will receive active support from the authorities of the AAM industry. Enrolling these companies into the first of its kind in the world, Dubai’s advanced air mobility center will become the global hub of this industry.

Companies will be able to test and operate vertical take-off and landing vehicles at the facility.

According to the authorities, they all are excited to build the Vports, with tremendous designs and functional infrastructures. All these ports are to initially be set up in the existing helipads and industrial and cargo areas. To determine the locations of the vertiports, safety and security regulations, flight corridors, urban integration, and business organizations involvement;  the CEO and founder of VPorts Dr. Fethi Chebil is looking forward to cooperating with other emirates.

Companies will be able to test and operate vertical take-off and landing vehicles at the facility.

The calculations of the investments for the development of the advanced air mobility center in Dubai south are set to be $40 million over three years period and are expected to be completed in 2025. Alongside this, the expansion of the air network will enhance sustainable transportation via eVTOL across all the major cities and industrial areas by 2030. Besides, it will also create around 1500 job opportunities in the field of engineering, sales, marketing, and staff.

The VPorts has signed an agreement for a 25-year lease with MBRAH, which is further renewable to additional 25 years to set up the Advanced air mobility center on a 37,000- square- meter site, in partnership with the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority(GCAA). The center is set to generate a gigantic amount of whopping $7 billion in direct revenues in Abu Dhabi and Dubai over the first quarter of the century. The CEO and founder of VPorts expressed that their collaboration with emirate countries and globally will enable them to build and operate 1500 vertiports the world by 2045.
