Emirates to launch daily flights to London Stansted
After a flight there’s nothing we love more than taking a domestic flight and then a bus and then walking about 3km to get to our desired location, it’s quite magical. Magical, we say.
We love travelling for an entire day and then sleeping for another, it’s what holidays are made of. We’re being sarcastic, obviously.
Well fortunately for us and you, we no longer have to embark on multiple journeys the next time we want to go places like Essex, because Emirates has just announced that it will be launching daily, direct flights to London Stansted.
While it’s not in Essex per say, it is just a 26 minute drive away which is better than the alternative of having to stopover in Vienna or Istanbul, for example.
The route will take off from June 8 onwards and will see a Boeing 777-300ER do the honours of transporting passengers.
Speaking on the news, the president of Emirates airline Sir Tim Clark said: “The introduction of the new London Stansted-Dubai service underscores our commitment to serve London, with operations soon to three different airports in the city.
“There is a clear demand for this service from both business and leisure travellers and we anticipate that this news will be warmly received both across our global network, as well as by the business community based in the Stansted catchment area.”
We’re sure it will be, Tim.
