You can now travel from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah for free



Travel bugs, listen up! You can now get a free shuttle bus from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah.

The shuttle bus will be up and running until September 30 of this year and will travel from Terminal 1 and 3 of the Dubai International Airport to Ras Al Khaimah.

The bus will stop at various key locations in the emirate as well as a number of hotels such as Rixos Bab Al Bahr and The Waldorf Astoria.

The bus will be equipped with free Wi-Fi, water and maps. Score.

Ras Al Khaimah Zipline
The zip line is over the length of 28 football (soccer, for all our American readers) fields and is located on top of the Jebal Jais Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah. The must-see attraction features two lines, allowing friends and family to experience the journey together. The decline is a staggering 1,934 metres. If you’re suddenly feeling lightheaded, don’t worry. There’s two stops. The first will spans across a length of 1,600 metres while the second will tackle the last 300 metres to the ground. The zip line can accommodate 250 people a day and is currently operated by Toro Verde, the masterminds behind the Adventure Park in Puerto Rico. Tickets start at AED650, click here to book yours.

RAK Mountain Festival
Join hundreds of nature enthusiasts as they set up camp atop the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah. Make a bee-line to Jebal Jais, the highest mountain in the UAE, to soak up a view that will undoubtedly take your breath away. Aside from making tons of friends and camping under the stars over the two-day festival, expect to take part in a number of fun activities such as ziplining, archery, rock climbing and bungee trampolining.
