on

It’s the weekend we’ve all been waiting for – Dubai World Cup is back, along with its impressive horses and crowds of well-heeled people. If you’ve got the energy to cram in more action over the weekend, check out Sven Vath at Blue Marlin, or head to Dubai World Trade Centre to see the spectacular Cirque Le Noir. There’s also a special Easter roast at Gaucho that you won’t want to miss.

Nicki Minaj Live
The quirky star’s Pink Friday tour arrives in Dubai this Friday, with a show at a brand new temporary venue at Dubai Outlet Mall. The quirky 33-year-old rap star will bring a string of hits and, we can imagine, some pretty dramatic outfit changes.

Cirque Le Noir

Cinema – Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (PG3)
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has become the most eagerly anticipated film of 2016 so far. The plot centres on the growing public scrutiny of Superman’s powers: Is Clark Kent’s alter-ego a force to be trusted? Well, no, according to Affleck’s ageing, angrier-than-ever Bruce Wayne, who has developed a hostile aversion to Krypton’s son. In his newly bulked-up batsuit, he wages war against him, all under the watch of Jeremy Irons’ Alfred.
Added to the mix is Lex Luther, who was absent from Man of Steel, played by a long-haired but recognisably cocky Jesse Eisenberg, and an odd cameo from Wonder Woman – though whose side these two fall on, is up to you to find out.
In cinemas from March 24
