About The Dubai Mall

The Dubai Mall is a vital element of Downtown Dubai, Emaar Properties’ flagship mega-project. The mall’s 12 million square feet overall is comparable to 200 soccer fields. The Dubai Mall has a total interior floor area of 5.9 million square feet, 3.77 million square feet of gross floor space, over 1,200 retail businesses, two anchor stores, and over 200 outlets for food and beverages.

The Dubai Mall

In addition, The Address Dubai Mall is a 5-star luxury hotel with 244 rooms, 449 serviced homes, and 14,000 undercover parking spots split across three floors. The Dubai Mall pays tribute to high fashion with over 70 unique boutiques in its designated Fashion Avenue, which spans 440,000 square feet. The mall’s anchor stores are Galeries Lafayette, France’s biggest lifestyle retailer, and Bloomingdale’s, America’s top department store; this is the first time either brand has opened a location in the Middle East.

The Souk is a separate retail district with large pathways and merchants selling jewelry, accessories, traditional Arab apparel, and handicrafts, among other things. A Diplodocus latissimus dorsi dinosaur skeleton, a one-of-a-kind new enormous exhibit from the Early Jurassic Period, is currently being displayed at The Souk. Visitors can get up close and near Dubai Dino, a 155 million-year-old dinosaur carcass that measures 24.4 meters in length and 7.6 meters in height.

Level Shoe District is a footwear and accessories concept store. The 96,000-square-foot store offers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience wherein elegance and contemporary luxury collide to herald in a new retail age. In 40 specially picked stores, 250 designers congregate under one roof.

The Village, a famous shopping and leisure zone, provides a comfortable and casual shopping experience with a store mix that concentrates on current denim labels for active lifestyles. The Village, which has a completely retractable roof, is open throughout the winter, giving guests a truly outdoor experience.

The mall’s focal point is the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, among the world’s largest aquariums. Dubai Aquarium, with a capacity of 10 million gallons of water, spotlights the wonders of the ocean base and houses one of the most diversified collections of marine species in the world. Thousands of aquatic creatures, including sharks and rays, may be seen in Dubai Aquarium.

Its 270-degree acrylic tour tunnel allows viewers remarkable up-close encounters with some of the world’s most intriguing aquatic species. The tank’s atmosphere is changed by a specific ‘lunar-cyclic’ lighting system depending on the time of day. The Underwater Zoo is situated above the aquarium and teaches children and tourists about the ecology and preservation of marine life through an interactive method.

KidZania is an award-winning children’s ‘engagement activity’ concept that has entered the region through an exclusive agreement with Emaar Retail. KidZania is an 80,000-square-foot interactive mini-city blend of play and learning uniquely and excitingly.

The Dubai Mall also houses the Olympic-size Dubai Ice Rink, which can hold international competitions. Dubai Ice Rink, with a maximum seating of 350, is a family-friendly attraction open to the public, with regular ‘learn to skate programs. The rink is also a multi-purpose facility that can be converted into a concert theatre or used for private gatherings.

A large 20m by 10m LED screen is located on one side of the rink, and a variety of cafés provide a leisurely and peaceful experience for the whole family. Reel Cinemas, situated on The Dubai Mall, is 150,000 square feet and has 22 screens accommodating 2,800 people.

Finally, The Dubai Mall features the region’s largest and most comprehensive Food & Beverage service within a mall, including over 200 outlets ranging from fine cuisine to informal. The mall’s promenade is flanked by specialty cafés and restaurants, each providing an alfresco dining environment with glimpses of The Dubai Fountain and The Burj Khalifa.

 Burj Khalifa

To alleviate the daily crush of tourists, management enables tourists to book advance tickets for a specific time and date at a 75% discount off the price of tickets bought on the spot. When the tide is down, people can see the coasts of Iran from the tower’s highest point, and the vision is good. Do you know that The Dubai Mall is one of the seconf largest malls in the world, and it is an ideal family entertainment destination with a variety of activities to keep everyone entertained? Love Lake Dubai is also another must-see attraction in Dubai. It is a man-made lake in the shape of a heart. The fact that Love Lake Dubai is open 24 hours a day is one of the reasons why it is so popular. You can also go to Love Lake at night.

The Burj Khalifa has launched another observation deck related to At the Top, named the SKY level, on the 14th floor. This restored the Burj Khalifa’s status as the world’s highest viewing platform, overtaking the Canton Tower in Guangzhou, albeit later overtaken by the Shanghai Tower. It still retains the world record for the tallest outdoor deck and the highest restaurant.

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo

The Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is where you’ll find thousands of aquatic creatures from over 140 species. The 10 million gallon tank is home to over 400 sharks and rays, featuring Sand Tiger Sharks, Giant Groupers, and other marine creatures.

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo

A range of carefully crafted experiences will bring the guests direct contact with the aquatic residents, allowing them to share unforgettable moments with relatives and friends.

Dubai Ice Rink

The Dubai Ice Rink is among The Dubai Mall’s main recreational attractions. It is positioned on the ground level of the mall, opposite The Souk, and the Olympic-sized rink has evolved into a social center, attracting people from all walks of life. In addition to skating for enjoyment, they provide various unrivaled elements, such as famous figure skating academy classes, ice hockey games and drills, dynamic and contemporary events, a dynamic dancefloor vibe, and endless fun for skating enthusiasts and tourists alike.

Dubai Ice Rink

Dubai Ice Rink uses cutting-edge technology to develop and maintain the highest ice uniformity and quality levels. Over 2,000 pairs of skates from a prominent Italian manufacturer have been imported to accommodate youngsters and adults of various ages and sizes. Their pleasant and competent instructors and stewards are constantly on hand to ensure the safety of their customers. Every couple of hours, the Zamboni – a unique ice resurfacing equipment – is deployed over the rink to provide upper-edge ice at all moments.

In addition to skating classes and training programs, Dubai Ice Rink has increased its lifestyle appeal by hosting cool D.J. evenings to add to the excitement of desiring a stylish weekend mood. Dubai Ice Rink is also excellent for celebration parties or pleasant meetings. Arriving through the metro bridge link to your automobile, cab, or tour bus couldn’t be easier. They are located on the ground level, beneath the theatre, and close to the well-known Waterfall Atrium.

Reel Cinemas

At over 12,000m2, this was intended to be the biggest cinema in the UAE. The first phase of Dubai Mall’s flagship Reel Cinemas adds five theatres, including a Dolby Cinema (the world’s top luxury large-format theatre), a Platinum VIP Theater, a Barco Escape Theater, and an MX4D motion theatre and eating cinema led by the finest famous chef Guy Fieri.

Reel Cinemas

There are also many specialty foods and beverage businesses within the theatre where you can rest and relax while posting your thoughts on the massive Twitter wall inside the lobby. The cinema is the world’s first to include RGB laser projectors as well as Dolby Atmos audio systems in every theatre, offering the greatest possible visual and audio presentation.

In addition, the building has the world’s first completely automated online purchase and pick-up eCommerce platform within a theatre. Tickets and meals can be purchased in the lobby through one of the numerous swiping displays (or from your phone through the app), then picked up at the handy pick-up point on the route to the theatre. The most recent LED & OLED display technologies are utilized throughout the theatre. A massive LED screen dominates the entrance, and curved LED panels can be seen throughout the property.

Dubai Dino

The Dubai Dino is a 155 million-year-old dinosaur skeleton that is 7.6 meters tall and 24.4 meters long. The massive skeleton could be seen in the Grand Atrium on the northern side of the Dubai shopping mall. The skeleton was discovered at Dana Quarry, Wyoming, in 2008. Dinosaur remains have been discovered here more frequently in the past.

Dubai Dino

The dinosaur most likely died as a consequence of drought. The fractured tail vertebrae of this skeleton are intriguing. This might have happened during a dinosaur assault or a struggle with another dinosaur. The Dubai Dino’s skeleton originates from an Amphicoelias-type diplodocus, a plant-eating dinosaur, one of the biggest terrestrial creatures ever to have existed on the planet.

This dinosaur species weighed more than five times as much as an adult elephant. The length is equivalent to driving five automobiles in a row. This young adult dinosaur stood the same height as five people.

Trampo Extreme

Trampo Extreme is a family amusement park where you can jump into a good time by exploring the Cave, climbing, or playing. It’s an entirely new level of active recreational attractions, ideal for testing the entire family. The parks include a ton of trampolines and a variety of 16 jumping events, making it the perfect spot to get your energy levels up and moving. To top everything off, the fluorescent layout and color-changing lighting offer the park a new depth every minute.

Trampo Extreme

In addition, families can enjoy the region’s largest soft play area, which is styled after cities across the world and is a real depiction of the UAE’s global population. Every time they go to Trampo Extreme, kids can look forward to an exciting new experience, while adults can join in the action or rest and rejuvenate at their Recharge café by Limetree.

Hysteria

Hysteria is a state of great dread. Hysteria, the region’s first haunted attraction, takes visitors on a trip through their worst dreams and greatest anxieties. This is not suitable for the weak of the heart. If you prefer thrills, horror movies, or just trying new things, Hysteria is for you – if you believe you’re courageous enough.

Hysteria

DXB Play

Play DXB is the world’s largest indoor virtual reality zone. It features many of the most popular experiences and more diversified entertainment with many alternatives for infants, tweens, and the young at heart. This is the place to go for hours of nonstop fun and to put your talent to the test in friendly competitive sessions with your friends.

Discover over 30 game-changing experiences spread over a variety of fascinating and instructional “journeys.” Remember the good old days with the kids on a vintage carousel ride, or trying to beat the best scores at arcades? While the kids enjoy the bouncy playground and castles, you can put on an Oculus gaming headset, enter a Transformers-themed quest, and defeat the bad guys.

DXB Play

There are several options available for both alone and multiplayer activities. Best of all, admission is free, with fees for each activity beginning at AED15. And, if you need to take a break from the action, you can visit the on-site café.

Dubai Opera

Dubai Opera is a 2,000-seat inter-performance arts center in Downtown Dubai’s Opera District. Emaar Properties designed it to accommodate a wide range of events and activities, including play, opera, ballet, symphonies, conferences, and exhibits.
