There’s a brand-new Havana Social Club in Bluewaters Dubai

The venue will have a vibrant circular bar area, where guests can watch the master mixologists at work. Expect signature distilled-sugarcane drinks and a host of Cuban mixed beverages.

There’s also a whole lounge for fans of Cuban rolls. It’s decked out with Chesterfield-style brown leather sofas, wood panelling and exposed brick-work. Here, guests can lounge, relax and savour a selection of 30 Cuban rolls, all while sipping on a Cuban mixed drink in hand.

Looking for a certain night to go? Wednesday is your best bet, as the “Noche Del Ron” night will feature live music and spontaneous dancing, along with unlimited mixed drinks and two bar bites for AED175 from 7pm until 9pm.

That’s not the only fiesta, as On Thursday nights Havana Social Club hosts ‘Alama Latina’ – a ladies night offering three hours of complimentary grape and mixed drinks from 8pm until 11pm.

As for the foodies, the menu is split into three sections, guests can tuck into the “crujiente” (crunchy) menu featuring yucca chips and plantain chips, both served with Havana secret sauce and honey-roast pepper dip.

There’s also the “manos” (hands) section, including Cuban ceviche with sea bass, gambas, habanero chili, cucumber and cuban guacamole; the pavo cubano with turkey, mortadella, swiss cheese, pickled gherkins and grained mustard sauce; as well as wagyu beef chorizo sliders with a beef chorizo patty, queso de joya, Cuban guacamole, sambal sauce and Caribbean slaw.

Finally, those with a sweet tooth can check out the “dulce” (sweet) menu, which includes arroz con leche with chia seed, mango gel and coriander; frozen caramel banana pops; the tropical fruit empanada with pineapple, mango, clove and cinnamon compote; along with the smoked coconut creme natillas featuring sesame tuile, avocado chili sorbet.
