Aida at Dubai Opera
One of the world’s most renowned operas is coming to Dubai, set to a backdrop of Ancient Egypt. It’s a story of love and loyalty, betrayal and back-stabbing, amid a battle of the nations. Aida and Radames, each from opposing countries, are torn between their patriotism and love for one another. Stunning visuals, ornate costumes and incredible music from composer Giuseppe Verdi, and performed by the Polish National Opera, await. If you love music – any kind of music – and theatre, then this is one not to be missed. Tickets start from AED350. Or you could head over on February 13 and catch the dress rehearsal for just AED35.
