Dubai Royal Family: Sheikha Latifa (Sheikh Mohammed’s Daughter) Blessed With A Baby Girl

Sheikha Latifa was overjoyed with the arrival of their baby daughter. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s daughter Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced the arrival of their fourth child. The princess revealed this joyous message through her social media handles.

The new baby will be called Hind bint Faisal AlQasimi

Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum shared the new baby’s name on her Instagram account along with the message “ We were blessed today”. The date of birth was listed as the 14th of May 2023. This new mother of 4 now, is beyond happy and people also shared their blessings and wishes to the baby and her family.

Sheikha Latifa holds various prestigious positions like the post of chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and is also a member of the Dubai Council. The princess also serves as the vice chairman of the Emirates Literature Foundation and the board member of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.

Sheikha Latifa is the chairperson of the development of the Al Quoz Creative Zone Committee and the Dubai Collection’s Steering Committee. In addition to that she serves as the honorary president of the Association of Graduates of the Zayed University situated in Dubai.

This exemplary princess graduated with an Executive Master’s in Business administration with honors and a Bachelor of Business Science in Marketing from Zayed University. As the father’s daughter she is, Sheikha Latifa is very fond of equestrianism and composing poetry. She is also passionate about martial arts and has learned Kung Fu and is also a black belt in Taekwondo.

Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has worked tediously towards improving and supporting the city’s cultural and artistic landscape since the start of her career. She is the person behind creative initiatives such as the Dubai Creative Economy Strategy, which sets its target of metamorphosing Dubai into a people’s most preferred spot for cultural, creative, and artistic talents. The initiative aims at making Dubai the capital of the creative economy by the year 2025.

She also has contributed a lot of effort towards enhancing the literary scene of the country, like investing in public libraries. For such remarkable efforts, she was honored with the “First Arab Lady” Award from the Arab Women’s Authority for her contributions to the city’s cultural sector.

Sheikha Latifa married Sheikh Faisal bin Saud bin Khalid AlQasimi in the year of 2016. The couple was blessed with their first child, Mohammed bin Faisal AlQassimi and a second child Shaikha bint Faisal AlQassimi born in October 2020, the third child was born in December 2021 named Hamdan bin Faisal AlQassimi.
It was just a few months ago when Sheikha Latifa’s brother, the Crown Prince of Dubai and the Chairman of the Executive Council, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced that he was blessed with a baby boy, who will be called Mohammed.

Aged 39, this mother of 4, during a Vogue interview shared that while she was a girl she dreamt of earning a black belt and having a career, and added that motherhood is the most significant thing she has done in her life and that it made her a stronger person. She proudly said that mothers are not focused, they are laser-focused and they get things done. With her ambition and vigor, we can expect more contributions and innovative strategies for Dubai from Sheikha Latifa.
