UAE President Speaks With Astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi

The UAE is looking forward to Sultan Al Neyadi’s historic space mission, which is scheduled for February 27 at 10:45 a.m. (UAE time). Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi received a phone call from UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan prior to his departure from the International Space Station on February 27 from Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The President contacted Al Neyadi to wish him well and to inquire about his health ahead of the historic mission, which will be the longest space mission ever undertaken by an Arab astronaut.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed expressed his hopes and prayers for Al Neyadi’s success in the mission and safe return home during the call. The President also congratulated Al Neyadi on his achievement and urged him to represent his country well by flying the UAE flag high in the sky.

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan inquired about Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi’s well-being, family, and mission during a phone call with Al Neyadi.

Al Neyadi responded positively, saying that everything was fine and that they had arrived two days earlier at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. He also mentioned that their parents had arrived, that there was a good crowd for everyone, and that everyone was excited and waiting for the historic moment.

The President sincerely hoped that God would protect Al Neyadi wherever he may be and that he would return to the UAE safe and sound, cherished and dear while raising the UAE flag.

The President’s well wishes demonstrate his genuine concern for Al Neyadi’s well-being, as well as his understanding of the importance of this mission to the UAE.

Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi thanked UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan for always leading them with kindness and generosity, paving the way for them.

Al Neyadi stated that no one is more excited about this mission than they are and that they will continue the journey that Sheikh Mohamed began by carrying the UAE flag and the ‘Zayed’s Ambition’ patch.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed expressed his gratitude to Al Neyadi and stated that they invest in people like him and his brother Hazza.

Sheikh Mohamed was reassured by Al Neyadi that they would be there for him whenever he needed them. He also stated that they strive for good and honourable things and that they will leave a significant imprint on this mission.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed reminded Al Neyadi to continue working out on a daily basis so that his muscles would be strong when he returned. In response, Al Neyadi stated that they have a two-hour daily workout requirement.

It’s inspiring to see Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed’s strong bond with Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi. Their conversation emphasises the value of encouragement and support in pursuing one’s dreams and goals.
