EDGE Group Announce Its Opening Of New Office In Brazil

The EDGE Group, an Abu-Dhabi-based advanced technology and defense group is all set to open its new regional office in Brasilia, the federal capital of Brazil. This new opening is a part of EDGE’s mission to utilize the opportunities available in the local market as Brazil has decided to increase its defense spending to $25 billion this year. With this, the company is planning to expand its international footmark.

The new office in Brazil will be managed by a team of experienced and dedicated professionals

The company announced this new opening at the LAAD Defence and Security in Rio de Janeiro, the world’s largest defense and security exhibition. It is for the first time that EGDE Group is taking part in such a big exhibition.

The company will be showcasing products from its ten portfolio companies with products on air, land, and naval systems, ammunition, precision-guided munitions, and electronic warfare. 

Mansour Al Mulla, CEO, and MD of the EDGE Groups said that they feel proud to have announced the new opening in Brazil. Being a young company with over three years of experience this new announcement shows the confidence the company has in markets across the globe.

The markets also offer positive opportunities for expanding global trade, sharing knowledge, and achieving greater prosperity. 

This new step will showcase the company’s interest in these markets to demonstrate its advanced technology and defense solutions and form new alliances. This will eventually provide support to the development of national defense capabilities with an aim to aid international collaboration that will help in realizing shared goals and supporting economic growth.

In the year 2022, EDGE has secured an order intake worth more than $5 billion. With its performance, the company has expanded its network to over 30 countries across five continents including Europe, Asia, Africa, and North and South America. It gives special attention to technologically advanced and price-competitive Autonomous systems, Cyber technologies, and Smart weapons. 

Since its launch in November 2019, the company has been expanding its influence based on a strong industrial blueprint that served as the foundation for the product development roadmap. This has helped to increase the number of its products to over 150, a significant four-fold growth in the company’s history.
