HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Welcomes IDEX, NAVDEX Visitors

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Dubai, welcomed all the guests to the 16th edition of the IDEX and the 7th edition of the NAVDEX exhibitions, both organized under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi.

The International Defence Exhibition & Conference, aka IDEX, is an exhibition aimed at defence technology sales conducted biennially in Abu Dhabi by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) centre.

IDEX, NAVDEX is the Largest Defence Exhibition in the Region

The first IDEX exhibition happened back in 1993 and is currently the largest and the only one-of-its-kind defence conference and exhibition to happen in the Middle East. During IDEX, all the popular defence manufacturers from all around the world come together to demonstrate the latest defence technologies that can be put to use in land, air, and sea sectors.

The exhibition also functions as a unique platform to establish as well as strengthen existing relations with various government entities, business organizations, and also armed forces throughout the Middle East and elsewhere in the world.

The Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), which is in its 7th edition now, is an exhibition dedicatedly run to showcase the latest improvements and innovations in the field of naval defence and maritime security.
