Route to your Landmark

The Dubai Metro has two lines- Red and Green, with trains every few minutes. The red line moves along Jabal Ali towards UAE Exchange and the Green line runs from Etisalat Metro Station in Al Qusais and stops at Creek in Al Jaddaf.

The train moves along the red line through 29 stations in order, namely, Al Rashidiyya, Emirates Dubai International Terminal 3, Dubai International Terminal 1, GGICO, Deira City Center, Al Rigga, Union, Burjuman, ADCB, Al Jafaliya, World Trade Center, Emirates Towers, Financial Center, Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall, Business Bay, Noor Bank FAB, Dubai Internet City Nakheel, Dubai Marina, Nakheel Harbour and Tower Inn, Battuta Energy, Danube and finally reaches Jebal Ali.

Green line: (22.5 Km)

Trains move along the Green Line through 20 stations, namely Etisalat, Al Qusais, Dubai Airport Free Zone, Al Nahda Stadium, Al Qiyadah, Abu Hail, Abu Baker, Al Siddique, Union, Baniyas Square, Palm Deira, Al Ras, Al Ghubaiba, Al Fahidi, Burjuman, Oud Metha, Dubai Healthcare City and reach Al Jaddaf Creek.

Getting tickets

To get on a Metro train, you can either avail one time tickets or get a smart rechargeable card called Nol card that can be recharged at vending booths in every station.

Access to Dubai International Airport

The Dubai Metro has two stops for Dubai International Airport, Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.

Luggage

Passengers are allowed to carry two pieces of baggage, a large one and a handbag. It must be placed in the space allocated for luggage. 

Descending at your destination

Once you reach your destination, you will be notified through voice commands and information display boards. Audible beeps and light signals will alert you when opening doors just when you need to get out.
